In order to comply with today's demands of European led legislation of traceability in all aspects of Quality assurance, AMETEK Land, Inc. have recognised the need to provide a quality backup service as well as quality products. As a result of our commitment to quality, in 1989 we obtained BS EN ISO 9001 Quality Management System approval for the design and manufacture of non contact infrared temperature measuring equipment. In 1992 this approval was extended to cover in-house repair and site servicing. Software development and products were added to the scope of approvals in 1996.

In 2002, LAND USA obtained ISO 9001 : 2000 approval for sales, engineering support, repair, calibration and certification services.
